Celebrate an extraordinary evening of recognition and achievement at the 2286 (Coventry Arden) Squadron Annual Awards Evening! This inspiring event is a cornerstone of our Squadron’s calendar, bringing together cadets, families, and distinguished guests to honour the outstanding accomplishments of our RAF Air Cadets in Coventry. The evening promises to be filled with pride, camaraderie, and memorable moments, highlighting the dedication and excellence that define our Squadron - and more than a few laughs as we look back on the faces pulled this year!

Event Highlights:

• Drinks Reception: Guests are invited to arrive from 6:30 PM for a welcoming drinks reception, providing an opportunity to mingle and set the tone for an inspiring evening.
• Prompt Ceremony Start: The formal ceremony will commence promptly at 7:00 PM, with an address from our Evening's host. 
• Annual Roundup by Squadron NCOs: Experience a detailed and engaging roundup of the year’s activities and achievements, presented by our Squadron NCOs. This segment will showcase the hard work, commitment, and successes of our cadets over the past year.
• Video of the Year: Relive the most memorable moments and highlights through our ever-popular video of the year. This visual journey captures the spirit, adventures, and many faces pulled by 2286 Squadron.
• Inspiring Speeches: Hear from our Squadron Officer Commanding, Squadron Chairman and esteemed guests of honour. Their speeches will provide valuable insights, inspiration, and recognition of the cadets’ efforts and accomplishments.
• Presentation of Squadron Awards: The pinnacle of the evening, this segment will see the presentation of various awards to our deserving cadets. Each award celebrates excellence in different areas, reflecting the diverse talents and hard work of our members.
• Conclusion and Social Time: The ceremony will wrap up around 8:45 PM, followed by a delightful spread of tea and cake. This post-ceremony gathering offers a relaxed atmosphere for photographs, congratulations, and socializing with award winners and fellow guests.

Important Information: Due to potentially limited seating capacity, cadets are encouraged to order as many guest tickets as they wish. If necessary (though historically it has not been required), we may need to reduce party numbers and will contact guests in advance should this occur.
