Cadet Sergeant Kynan French of 2286 (Coventry Arden) Squadron had the honour of performing in the massed banner parade at this year’s Birmingham International Tattoo, a spectacular celebration of military music, drill, and tradition.

Taking place at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, the event brought together cadets, military personnel, and performers from across the UK and beyond, delivering an unforgettable experience for both participants and audiences.

Reflecting on the opportunity, Cadet Sergeant French said:
“Marching in the Birmingham Tattoo was absolutely awe-inspiring. Standing in formation, surrounded by banners from across the UK, with the sound of the massed bands filling the arena—it was a moment I’ll never forget. Being part of such a prestigious event was an incredible experience, and I’m proud to have represented 2286 Squadron on this scale.”
